(Pronounced like the letter "C").

I can tell you I love what I do (I know all photographers say that but really I do), I think my work speaks for itself.  I have over 14 years experience shooting weddings and I am an international award winning photographer.

I love to travel and explore...I am adventurous and welcome weddings and portraits that take me to wonderful places. 

I live in Three Rivers the gateway to the Sequoia National Park.  I am adventurous and love shooting weddings that are traditional as well and the non traditional adventurous ones too.  Check out my landscapes from our travels here.

I have shot many camp out weddings and depending on what they are about and location, may offer them for reasonable prices, despite travel costs.

My style is Artistic, Documentary and Classic all in one. It can be like 3 photographers in one. 

This apply's to weddings and family portraits.    

Photojournalistic/Documentary is something tossed around by many photographers but to really be able to follow that style is not accomplished by all.  I am artistic in my portraits, yet strive for a relaxed fluid pose, guiding more than posing.  I don't want the portraits to look forced.  My style is strong in documentary and photojournalistic wedding photography, capturing all the moments I can to tell your story.  I still get the classic family photos, bridal party photos and romantics of the two of you.  If you prefer all documentary with just a few posed of the two of you that is great too!  I will work with you for the most part, but my style is not overly posed.  It is classic, artistic and candid/documentary.

I am an artist...who loves to photograph wedding days and tell your story. 

I am not a sales person.  I will not try to sell you what you do not want (and will often give discounts or barter/trade for services as well).  I will try to give you want you want within my artistic abilities and styles.  I teach as well as photograph weddings and do not have to depend on weddings, I do them because I love them and am passionate about photographing them and believe that I have something to share with you in my talents. 

 

I can shoot silently ... yes you heard that right, I have a camera that can make no noise, great for church ceremony's.  I can also shoot 20 frames per second on it too, not that it is needed for weddings or portraits. 

I switched from Nikon d750's to all Sony's.  I have the game changing Sony A9 that can shoot silently for 90% of your wedding day if needed.  I also have the newly released Sony A7riii 42mp that produces gorgeous images with rich detail and depth.  I have high end Sony and Zeiss lenses as well as some artistic lenses.  Full list here.

I have won many international awards mostly in the documentary wedding style but others as well.   

I  am well educated in my field but most of all I have many years of experience shooting hundreds of weddings.   

 

I am both the fly on the wall and director when needed but prefer to guide rather than direct when needed and mostly capture what I see as it unfolds. I step up and take control for the family photos well though, so we make everyone happy and get them done as quickly as possible.
